John and Carol Thorpe have been married for 40 years. They have 2 children from previous marriages, and 6 grandchildren.
They have a powerful testimony of God’s ability to restore love, faith, trust and happiness with a blended family.
John and Carol serve as Elders at Turning Point Church, where they also serve small group leaders.
Their walk with the Lord has been an amazing journey. In 2000, they left their full time jobs and stepped into ministry becoming houseparents at Broken Shackle Ranch, a place for young men between the ages 16-18 coming out of the youth detention center. They have been Outreach leaders and leaders with Celebrate Recovery at the Church of the Harvest International.
Their hearts have always been for restoring families and marriages through the love of God. And He continues to be faithful to work in their lives to fulfill their hearts’ desire in this area.
