We are considered an Out of Network Provider.

If you have insurance, you may be able to see any therapist you like and get reimbursed for some or all of your out-of-pocket expenses by using the "out-of-network" benefit offered by many insurance companies.

Most health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (SPA), are welcome. We can issue you a receipt (a superbill) for you to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.

As a "out-of-network" service provider, many insurance companies will pay 50-100% of our normal rate.

How do I know if I have Out of Network benefits?

If you have questions about mental health, "behavioral health" or "pastoral counseling" services covered by your insurance, please call the customer service number listed on the back of your insurance card. It may be helpful to ask your insurance provider the following questions to ensure you get all the answers you need:

When I go outside of my insurance's provider network, what kind of mental health care do I have access to?

How much of the cost of therapy will you cover (usually expressed as a percentage)?

Do they cover TELEHEALTH, VIDEO, PHONE, and TELEMENTAL HEALTH sessions with providers outside their network at the same rate? If so, do they plan on ending this?

Does my insurance have an out-of-network deductible?  Have I met any portion of this deductible?

Is there a maximum amount that can be spent on mental health reimbursements, a maximum number of sessions that can be attended, is reimbursement restricted to a specific set of diagnoses, etc.?

Can I get reimbursed without a formal diagnoses?

Can I get reimbursed without a specific referral (from my PCP, for example)?

When I go with someone who isn't in my insurance network, how do I file a claim? When I submit my receipt, how long until I get reimbursed?

Is online therapy covered by my insurance plan?

Where can I find information about my health insurance options?
