Joe & Gigi Saad

Hello! We are Joe and Gigi, we live in Aurora, Ontario, Canada. We have been married for 32 years; we have 2 sons 31 & 28 years old. Over the last 15 years, we have been ministering to individuals, dating, married couples, and family members of the multicultural “Holy Family” Ministry in Greater Toronto Area. We are Egyptian Canadians; immigrated 33 years ago from Egypt to Canada, where we started our marriage and life together and established our first home in Toronto, Ontario.

We believe that Christian marriage is like establishing a new church at home and relationships are like planting seeds; the more effort and care we put into it, the more we reap bountiful fruits. Over time, relationships inevitably become challenging and dynamic at the same time! After 32 years of our marriage, we still disagree, argue, and sometimes even get on each other’s nerves; it’s normal. We are two different persons; however, united in Christ and we respect each other’s personalities, differences, vulnerabilities, and experiences. Couple conflicts become issues when spouses lose respect for each other and/or put their own needs before the other’s, that’s why Respect and Love are key to a Christian relationship!

Joe is a Certified Christian Counselor and Coach with 12 years of experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families. His specialties are Couple relationships, Intercultural challenges, family issues, Faith/Spirituality and Hope. He holds a Master’ studies degree in Christian Counseling and Mental Coaching. He is a member of The American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC) and Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Joe uses the right intervention/modality to help clients understand the root causes of issues and explore resolution through a Biblical lens. Joe encourages individuals and couples to change towards growth and integrates the Word of God as the Gospel of
Psychology in sessions. Joe is an Engineer by education and trade; spent 30 years of his career in engineering, consulting, and project management. Gigi holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and ministers along Joe as a team couple. Together, Joe and Gigi provide workshops and counseling sessions in both English and Arabic languages. 
 

We enjoy traveling, social activities, music, art, soccer, exploring and learning about new cultures.
